Kevin Hixson, CFP®
Born January 17, 1967, Kevin is a native of Lake Charles, Louisiana. Kevin received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Baylor University in 1989 with a major in Financial Planning and a minor in Insurance. Kevin and his wife Sandra moved to Austin in September of 1989, and he has worked for Financial Management Professionals, Inc. since that time. In the fall of 1991, Kevin received his Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) certification from the International Board of Standards and Practices for Certified Financial Planners.

Throughout his tenure at FMP, Kevin has gained extensive knowledge of financial planning with an emphasis in retirement planning. This includes IRA's, SEP-IRA's, and qualified plans. He has gained knowledge in tax planning and preparation for corporations, partnerships, trusts, personal and qualified plans.

In addition to his responsibilities with Financial Management Professionals, Inc., Kevin was a general partner and investment advisor to Hixson, Turner and Company, a real estate and investment partnership. In March, 1996 Kevin and his wife became parents to a son, Conner. In June 1999 their family grew again with another son, Colton and in October 2003 they welcomed their third son, Caden to their family.
