Incorporated in 1987, Financial Management Professionals (FMP) opened as one of the first fee-only financial planning and wealth management firms in Austin, Texas. Milton Hixson, CFP originally started the company on his own, but worked diligently to build a firm that relies on a close-knit team of advisors and support staff. That early work has grown into a firm with seven advisors in three offices servicing over 300 clients and managing in excess of $200 million in client assets.
